Case Study
Three-Story Single-Family Home
The Condition When We Acquired the Property
Built in 1900, this three-story home had strong bones but was significantly outdated. The interior layout, insulation, windows, and mechanical systems no longer met modern living or efficiency standards. While the exterior siding remained in acceptable condition, the interior required a complete overhaul to unlock the home’s true potential.
Our Vision & Build Strategy
Our goal was to preserve the exterior character of the home while completely modernizing the interior for today’s lifestyle. We focused on improving comfort, energy efficiency, and usability across all levels of the house, including maximizing livable space in the attic.
Key objectives included:
- Full interior modernization
- Improved energy efficiency and insulation
- Updated systems for long-term reliability
- Thoughtful use of vertical space
The Transformation Process
- Fully updated 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
- Created a finished attic suite to expand usable living space
- Installed new insulation and energy-efficient windows
- Upgraded all major mechanical systems
- Refreshed all interior finishes while retaining exterior siding
Every improvement was executed to blend modern comfort with the home’s original structure.
